The idea of travelling has always been very strange to me, in part because I don't do much of it myself, and in part because it figures into some of the most amazing books I've read and songs I've heard. I need to think and write more about this, obviously, but I just heard from Abby after several hours in the air, thousands of feet up, thousands of miles away. Distance is diminished, then erased.
