he's very quick, and this is even more sharp and clever than i had expected on the gay marriage/constitution issue. see for yourself.

john and i have long praised tom toles, both as a cartoonist and one of the more incisive political minds out there. this has largely just been back and forth between the two of us, since we expect few other people give a damn about this stuff.

today's cartoon is refrigerator art material. from the [as expected] always cute and somewhat bewildered looking bush, to the legacy question, to referencing certain other republican presidents, this is completely on point. he's captured bush pretty well: our very own tiny, divisive, shameful, anti-lincoln.
